Leads and enquiries

One list for every lead — website, marketplace, phone, walk-in and imported — with follow-up SLAs, conversion and outcome tracking.

Written for managers, sales staff, owners

Every request for a test drive is a lead, wherever it came from — your own website, the marketplace, a phone call, a walk-in, WhatsApp or a referral. DriveDesk keeps them all in one list with the same follow-up discipline.

Logging an offline lead

Somebody rings up asking about a car. Log it from the dashboard in a few seconds: name, contact, the channel it came through, and a preferred time slot if they gave one. It is recorded honestly as an unverified lead — there is no verified phone session behind a phone call, and DriveDesk does not pretend otherwise. Manual leads are never masked; the details are yours.

Importing a spreadsheet

  1. 1

    1. Paste

Paste your rows into the importer. Nothing is written yet.

  2. 2

    2. Preview

Every row is validated: rows missing a name are flagged, phone numbers duplicated within the file are flagged, and the valid rows are counted.

  3. 3

    3. Import

Commit and each valid row becomes a lead — channel synonyms resolved, 10-digit phone numbers normalised to international format, preferred slots kept.

Following up

A lead moves through New, Contacted, Booked and Closed — or Spam. A lead sitting at New past your follow-up window shows an Overdue badge, and DriveDesk nudges your team once. Once, not repeatedly, so the nudge still means something.

Turning a lead into a booking

Choosing 'Book a slot' opens the booking form already filled in from the lead — the customer's name, their preferred date and slot placed inside the booking window so it stays selectable, and the lead already ticked as linked. One booking can satisfy several leads at once, which is exactly what you want for a multi-stop home visit or an event.

Common questions

Should we log a lead that came in by phone?
Yes. Log it as a manual lead with the channel set to phone or walk-in. It carries the same follow-up tracking as an online lead, and it counts in your conversion reporting.
Are our own website leads masked?
No. Masking only applies to marketplace leads, where you are choosing whether to pay to unlock the contact. Your own website's leads and your own logged leads are always fully visible.
How often does DriveDesk nudge us about a stale lead?
Once. Repeated nudges get ignored; a single one that lands when the SLA is breached does not.
