Analytics and ROI

The dashboard overview, fleet utilisation, lead-to-sale ROI, the weekly digest and how exceptions surface.

Written for owners, managers

DriveDesk answers two kinds of question. The operational one — what needs my attention right now — and the commercial one — is any of this making money.

The overview

Opening your dealership lands you on an overview built around three bands: what needs your attention, quick actions, and at a glance figures. Every band respects permissions, so a field staff member opening the same page sees their notifications and nothing they cannot act on.

Fleet analytics

  • Trips, bookings and utilisation over any date range — the range is written into the address so a view can be bookmarked or shared.
  • A per-vehicle table showing kilometres driven, measured from the GPS trail rather than from what somebody typed in.
  • Where a distance was never recorded, it is reconstructed from the trail rather than shown as zero.

Lead-to-sale ROI

This is the number most dealerships actually want. It puts what you spent unlocking marketplace leads against the revenue from the leads you marked Won, broken down by verification tier, alongside your win rate.

The weekly digest

Owners and managers receive a summary of the last seven days' lead performance in the app and by email. Dealerships with no recent leads are skipped — an empty digest teaches you to ignore digests.

Common questions

Where do the per-vehicle kilometres come from?
It uses the GPS trail recorded during the trip, not a typed number — and it flags trips where the two disagree.
Who can see analytics?
Anyone with the View analytics permission, plus the owner. It is one of the permissions your plan tier controls.
Can we look at a custom date range?
Yes — pick a range and the page reflects it. The range lives in the address bar, so you can share the exact view with a colleague.
